1. General
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Aivomaa Oy's ("Company", "we", "our") website (aipoweredsolutions.fi) and services. By accepting these terms, you agree to comply with them.

- Customer/User: Individual or company using our services
AI Powered Solutions is a service brand of Aivomaa Oy (Business ID 3592993-6), Helsinki, Finland.
2. Service Description
Aivomaa offers the following services:

- š Website Development: AI-integrated websites and web applications
- š± Mobile Applications: Tailored mobile solutions
- ā” AI Optimization: Improving efficiency of existing systems
- š§ Consulting: AI strategy and implementation planning
3. Formation of Contracts
3.1 Request for Quote
A quote request submitted through the website AI chatbot does not bind either party. It is a request to receive a project quote.
3.2 Quote
We send a written quote via email. The quote is valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3.3 Contract Formation
A contract is formed when:
- Customer accepts the quote in writing (email accepted)
- Both parties sign a separate project agreement
- Customer pays the first installment (if agreed)
4. Pricing and Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
- AI Chatbots: price depends on channels and features
- Websites: price depends on scope, includes domain + hosting
- Mobile Apps: case-by-case pricing
- Optimization Services: price depends on scope
Exact project pricing is calculated individually based on scope. Request a quote via our AI assistant or contact us directly.
All prices are exclusive of VAT. Finnish VAT (25.5%) is added to invoices for customers in Finland. For business customers in other EU countries, the reverse charge mechanism applies (VAT 0%; the customer accounts for VAT). For customers outside the EU, VAT is handled according to the applicable rules.
4.2 Payment Terms
- Advance Payment: 50% at project start, remaining 50% on completion (or as otherwise agreed in the project agreement)
- Larger Projects: Payment schedule agreed separately in the project agreement
- Payment Terms: 14 days net
- Late Fee: 10% annually
4.3 Additional Work
Work outside the quote is billed separately at hourly rate (ā¬77/hour, VAT 0%) or agreed fixed price.
5. Delivery Times and Responsibilities
5.1 Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time is stated in the quote. Delivery time is indicative and depends on:
- Availability of materials provided by customer
- Timely feedback
- Number of change requests
- Force majeure situations
5.2 Customer Responsibilities
Customer commits to:

Providing all necessary materials and information
- ā
Providing feedback within agreed timeframe (typically 5 business days)
- ā
Appointing a contact person for the project
- ā
Ensuring usage rights for provided materials
5.3 Company Responsibilities
Company commits to:

Executing project professionally and carefully
- ā
Adhering to agreed schedules
- ā
Immediately informing about delays
- ā
Fixing errors during warranty period (see section 8)
6. Copyright and Ownership
6.1 Work Results
When project is fully paid:

Customer receives usage rights to project results
- ā
Company retains rights to reusable components and tools
- ā
Third-party licensed components (e.g., API services) retain their own license terms
6.2 Portfolio Rights
Company may use project results in its portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed (NDA agreement).
6.3 Source Code
Source code is delivered to customer upon project completion if specifically agreed. Company retains rights to reusable parts of the code.
7. Privacy and GDPR
Personal data processing occurs according to the Privacy Policy. Both parties commit to GDPR compliance.
7.1 Data Processing Agreement
If company processes customer's personal data during the project, a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) will be concluded.
8. Warranty and Support
8.1 Warranty Period
- Websites & Chatbots: 3 months from acceptance
- Mobile Apps: 6 months from launch
- Warranty covers: Technological errors and defects
- Warranty does NOT cover: Customer-made changes, third-party service disruptions
8.2 Ongoing Support
Post-warranty support and maintenance priced separately:
- š¼ Support Package: ā¬99/month (5 hours/month)
- ā” Urgent Support: ā¬77/hour (VAT 0%)
- š§ Maintenance: ā¬149-499/month (content + updates)
9. Limitation of Liability
ā ļø Important Liability Limitation:
Company's total liability is limited to the paid project value. We are not liable for:
- ā Indirect damages (loss of revenue, data loss)
- ā Third-party service disruptions (OpenAI API, hosting services)
- ā Force majeure situations
- ā Issues caused by customer-made modifications
10. Force Majeure
Neither party is responsible for delays or failure to perform resulting from:
- Natural disasters
- War, riot or terrorism
- Strikes or lockouts
- Significant infrastructure disruptions (internet, electricity)
- Government actions
11. Termination of Contract
11.1 Customer's Right to Terminate
Services are provided under a B2B agreement. Cancellation terms are defined per project in the service agreement. If work has already commenced at the client's request, completed work is invoiced accordingly. The statutory 14-day consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to B2B contracts.
- During project: Payment for completed work (hourly rate ā¬77/h, VAT 0%)
- Company breach: Written warning ā 14 days to remedy
11.2 Company's Right to Terminate
Company may terminate contract if:
- ā Customer fails to pay invoices on time (14-day payment reminder)
- ā Customer fails to provide agreed materials within 30 days of request
- ā Cooperation is unreasonably difficult or impossible
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms. Significant changes will be announced:

- š Through website notification banner
Continuing to use the service after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.
13. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Finnish law applies to these terms, excluding conflict of law provisions.

15.1 AI Chatbot Liability Limitation

- AI chatbot operates to the best of its ability but is not 100% error-free
- Customer is responsible for verifying accuracy of chatbot responses
- In critical cases (medical, legal) we recommend human verification
- OpenAI API terms of service apply concurrently
15.2 API Limitations
Third-party API services (OpenAI, Google, etc.) are subject to their own terms and limitations.
